Estonian trade unions plan to strike next month against plans by the Baltic country's government to freeze an increase in unemployment benefits. The government is "blindly ignoring the interests of the workers," the Confederation of Estonian Trade Unions said today in a statement on its Web page, saying it is preparing for a country-wide strike.
